Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Video Downloader (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App. The App lets you open web pages in a built-in browser, detect videos on those pages, choose a quality, and save files on your device. You can also keep browsing history and bookmarks, play downloaded files, and change language and search settings.
The App does not ask you to create an account, and it does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or a password. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.
The App is not directed to children. Do not use the App if you are under 18.
If you have questions after reading this Policy, contact us using the email in Section 9.

1. Information the App Handles
Information that may leave your device:
(1) Advertising ID (GAID), read when the App starts, used to show and measure ads.
(2) App activity and diagnostics, such as the App moving to the foreground or background, and notification display and click events. These events are sent to our service at https://api.1008cc.com/ so we can operate and improve the App.
(3) Attribution data processed by Adjust.
(4) Data collected by the advertising partners embedded in the App: Google AdMob, TopOn, AppLovin MAX, and TradPlus. Those partners may collect device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics under their own policies.
Information that stays on your device unless you clear it or uninstall the App:
(1) Browsing history, bookmarks, download records, chosen language, and search engine.
(2) Cookies and cache created by the built-in browser.
(3) Video files you download. They are saved in the App's own storage, not by reading your photo library.
The App does not request your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or call log. It does not collect your name, email address, government ID, or payment card number.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
(1) Detect videos on pages you open, download the file you choose, and play files you have saved.
(2) Remember history, bookmarks, language, and search settings on the device.
(3) Show ads and measure whether they are delivered.
(4) Understand basic App usage, including notification display and clicks, and keep the service working.
(5) Send optional reminders. You can turn notifications off in the system settings.
We do not sell your personal information.
Pages you open in the built-in browser are operated by those sites. What those sites collect is governed by their own policies, not by this one. You can type any web address. The App does not pre-screen every page.
Before you repost a video or photo, get permission from the copyright owner. You are responsible for unauthorized downloading, reuploading, and infringement of intellectual property.
3. Permissions
The App uses these device permissions:
(1) Internet and network state, so the browser, downloads, ads, and our service can connect.
(2) Notifications, which you can refuse. They are used for download and app reminders. The notification text may include a short message and emoji, and a button may be animated.
(3) Boot completed, so a scheduled reminder can be set again after the device restarts.
(4) Vibrate, for notification feedback.
(5) Display over other apps, which is optional and is requested only when a floating layer needs it. You can refuse it.
The App does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, calendar, SMS, or phone permission. You can revoke a permission in the system settings. After you revoke it, the related feature may stop working. Information already sent under a permission you previously allowed is not erased by turning the permission off.
4. Cookies in the Built-in Browser
The built-in browser stores cookies and cache so pages you visit can work. Those cookies belong to the sites you open. You can clear cookies, cache, and browsing history in the App's settings. We do not use those cookies to create an account profile on our servers.
5. Sharing
We share information only as follows:
(1) Advertising partners (Google AdMob, TopOn, AppLovin MAX, and TradPlus) and Adjust receive the identifiers and events they need to deliver, measure, or attribute ads. They process that data under their own policies.
(2) Our service at https://api.1008cc.com/ receives the app activity and diagnostic events described above.
(3) We may disclose information if a law, court, or government authority requires it, or if it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, us, or the public.
(4) If the App or its operator is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, information may be transferred to the successor, which will be required to honor this Policy or ask you again where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your browsing history, bookmarks, or downloaded files with advertisers as account content.
6. Storage and Security
History, bookmarks, settings, cookies, and downloaded files remain on your device. Diagnostic events are sent over HTTPS to https://api.1008cc.com/. The built-in browser can also open pages that are not encrypted, because the App allows cleartext traffic for addresses you enter.
We keep server-side diagnostic logs only as long as needed to operate and improve the App, unless a longer period is required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Third-Party Services
Ads and attribution are provided by Google AdMob, TopOn, AppLovin MAX, TradPlus, and Adjust. When you use those features, those companies may collect device and ad-interaction data directly. Their privacy policies explain their practices and the choices they offer, including advertising ID controls in your device settings.
Websites opened in the built-in browser are third-party services. Downloaded media may be subject to the rights of its owner.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy by publishing a new version at this page and changing the "Last Updated" date. If you continue to use the App after an update, the updated Policy applies to that use.
9. Contact
The App has no account, so there is no in-app account deletion page. You can clear browsing history, cache, and cookies in Settings, and you can delete downloaded files in the App. To ask about diagnostic data stored on our server, or about this Policy, email creditsin.com@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority where you live.
